What are we looking for ?
We are looking for someone to take on a role that combines office management and assisting the executive team. Someone who enjoys being part join a social, fun, and friendly team and support them by leading all things office and culture. Our ideal candidate is like ‘ownership’: once you know the goal you ‘run with it’. This role requires someone to be in-office 4 days a week, with some flexibility for additional work from home.
What are you going to do ?
You’ll be supporting our co-founders and the team. This includes office administration tasks, and proactively resolving niggling issues. You will also serve as the ‘eyes’ and ‘ears’ of the co-founders and help with strategic projects, key decisions and support on coordination of calendars for key initiatives. This means you will have daily interaction with two relaxed and approachable founders, each with 15+ years experience in banking, fintech, VC and digital media.
You will also support the operations team with HR related matters such as employee onboarding/offboarding. Finally, you may be required to support finance in the management on invoices and payments.
Qualifications ?
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with software like outlook, Calendly, slack, etc
- Experience leading culture, including organising team socials (physical and social), team offsites & gifts of gratitude on birthdays and work anniversaries.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage several projects in parallel
- Strong email and calendar management skills
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys collaborating with others
- Naturally proactive, social and energetic
