Job brief
The post holder will undertake clerical and support duties on behalf of the office staff. Responsibilities include managing inward and outward mail, Preparing and shipping test kits. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), 5 days per week (including Saturdays.)
Responsibilities
- Scanning, photocopying and filing documents
- Prepare test kits and ship them to customers
- Arranging for meetings by reserving rooms and securing refreshments
- Maintaining office equipment like copiers and printers for smooth office functionality
- Maintaining a clean and organised office appearance
- Empty waste bins and remove all waste from work areas
- Receiving visitors when they arrive and showing them the respective offices
- Managing office supplies, including refreshments
- Receiving, sorting and distributing mails and parcels
- Scheduling travel arrangements for senior executives
- Creating, editing and updating spreadsheets
- Carry out other duties as directed by the Manager
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in administrative or clerical roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Reliability under pressure.
- The ability to work with minimum supervision.
- The ability to manage own time effectively.
- Able to document and maintain records accurately.
- Demonstrable experience using computer software and hardware, including word processor, spreadsheets and presentation software
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands
- Demonstrable understanding of health and safety with a willingness to attend safety courses.
