Insight Employment are seeking an Office and Production Assistant for a client of ours in Tongwell, MiltonKeynes.
The role: -
As an Office and Production Assistant your role is to support the Production Director & Production Management team in all administrative and clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities: -
· Giving administrative and clerical support to production office team
· Ordering of office and factory consumables
· Holiday cover for other team member roles e.g Production assistant, customer service etc
Key tasks include but not limited to:
· Ensuring the office areas achieve company Health and safety requirements
· Al aspects of office clerical and administrative support
· Organising and maintaining common office areas utilising 5S principles
· Maintaining and purchasing, office and factory consumable supplies
· Maintaining and entering information into production databases such as BDE, excel etc
· Creating and maintaining production KPIs for Milton Keynes and Derby plants
· Conducting quality checks and Tesco audits
· Managing office purchased item budgets are achieved and cost/prices are improved
· Ordering and managing temp requirements
· Cover for customer service
· Any other reasonable management request
Qualifications: -
· 3 to 4 GCSE’S English, Maths etc
· 2-3 years’ experience managing and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
· Strong English written and spoken skills
· Clean full driving licence
· IT skills MS Office packages
· Knowledge of AX Dynamics systems desirable
· 5S Knowledge desirable but not essential
· Excellent problem solving and organisation skills desirable but not essential
Hours/shift: -
Mon-Thur - 08:30 – 17:00
Fri - 08:30 – 12:15
Rates: -
£11:50 per hour
