Job description

Excellent opportunity to join a consulting engineering practice that is at an exciting point in its expansion having secured a lead position over 25 years.

Our dynamic team is looking for a fantastic Office Manager to provide support to our team with administrative processes including admin procedures, data input, maintaining records, filing and switchboard.

The position has become vacant because of the impending retirement of our current Office Manager of 25 years. A period of overlap is envisaged.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • To manage all aspects of the Company’s office and administration staff and tasks.
  • Appraise the Company’s systems of work in relation to office services and implement new, streamlined practices.
  • Liaise with all staff, including site surveyors and Auto Cad staff to ensure smooth, seamless operations.
  • Liaise with Clients and Suppliers.
  • Be closely involved as a senior Manager with the management team and Board of Directors.
  • Be a key player in the development and continued growth/ success of the Company.
  • Report writing (from data provided).

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
  • Extensive experience working in an office environment.
  • Valid UK Driving licence.
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
