Burke Shipping Services Ltd. are a shipping agency and stevedoring company based in Lisahally Terminal, Londonderry. We are currently recruiting for the following permanent, part-time position (3 days per week).
Office Administrator

The Role:
· Finance duties for ship owners including creation of proforma and final disbursement accounts;
· Administration duties for ship owners including liaising with various internal staff and external agencies to arrange services for vessels in port;
· Creation of invoices for port agency services;
· Liaising with port authority regarding payment of ship owners accounts;
· Provide support for other financial duties delegated by Company Accountant, including month end preparation;
· General office administration.
The Person:
· 1-2 years previous relevant experience of working within a finance role in an office environment;
· Have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel and Word;
· Motivated and be able to work on own initiative;
· Effective communication skills;
· Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail;
· Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines;
· Ideally have experience of operating Sage 50 Accounts or other computerised accounting software.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 21 per week
Salary: £11.94 per hour
