System Analyst
Location: Harefield, UB9 6HZ
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00
Salary: Up to £55k + Pension, 24days Holiday & Bank Holidays as well as ongoing training and development
The Clancy Group are currently looking for a System Analyst to join the IT Department. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our IFS system by providing 2nd Line support to end users that will comprise of training, providing solutions as well as in-depth analysis and resolution for ongoing technical issues and continuous improvement.
Job Details:
- Diagnose and fix bugs, user issues and configuration issues
- Gather and interpret requirements from the business
- Develop system processes and configuration as applicable to an approved business case
- Participate in solution design process and workshops
- Prepare the requirements specification
- Define the success criteria for solution testing
- Analyse and decompose relevant business processes
- Perform business Analysis and process improvement
- Provide assistance to solution delivery on implementation and training
- Assist with system testing
- Create User Documentation and assist with training of end users
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Systems Analyst with an understanding of ERP/IFS and its interaction between business functions is essential
- Working knowledge on IFS preferred
- Ideally have experience of SQL, Crystal and MS PBI
- Experience of using Microsoft packages
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation
- An understanding of the project lifecycle
- Proven experience of problem solving, working with end users to understand requirements, and translating into system solutions
