Sales & Office Administrator
Job Description
Whippendell Marine is seeking an Office & Sales Administrator to support our Sales & Business Development Team and assist in the running of the office.
The role could be Full or Part Time with a minimum of 20 hours per week, based at our Tilbrook office.
This position will report directly to the Key Accounts Manager.
Sales Support
- Issue quotations, process sales orders, update logs and generate key monthly data.
- General administration support to the Business Development Director and Key Account Manager.
- Create pricing spreadsheets and assist Supply Chain Manger to obtain component prices.
- Ensure the smooth running of the sales office on a day-to-day basis.
General Office Support
- Manage the reception area, including welcoming customers and guests.
- Manage company correspondence, including phone calls, emails and post.
- Assist with organisation of meetings, scheduling of appointments and catering during company events.
- Manage inventory of office supplies to ensure smooth office operations.
- Assist in providing holiday / sick cover for the Key Accounts Manager.
- Provide holiday / sick cover for the accounts administrator.
- Provide holiday / sick cover for Supply Chain, including order placement and chasing.
- Provide holiday / sick cover for the Engineering Administrator.
Experience / Requirements
- 2 years of experience working in a professional office environment preferred.
- Professional manner.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn new software quickly.
- Must be able to prioritise and multitask.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
Pay & Benefits
- The full time (37.25 hours) equivalent salary : £24,000 to £26,000 per annum.
- 33 Days holiday, including Bank Holidays
- Company pension scheme, including death-in-service benefit.

Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
