Job description
We are a sports charity based in Newport Pagnell with a small friendly team. We are looking for someone who is very organised to assist with our accounts and office administration.
Duties will include:
· Inputting and reconciling invoices on Xero accounting software (training given)
· Applying for charity rate relief from local authorities
· Preparation of new staff contracts
· Monthly payroll
· Renewing of shop leases
· Providing office support to the Chief Operating Officer
· Preparation of monthly reports to trustees
· Submitting VAT returns (training given)
Ideal candidate:
· Able to work unsupervised
· Calm organised manner
· Excellent IT skills to include Excel spreadsheets
· High level of numeracy
· High attention to detail
· Able to liaise with external bodies and suppliers
This is an interesting role which supports all functions of the charity on a daily basis. You do not need to have used accounting tools before as full training will be provided so this could be an exciting opportunity to learn new skills.
The position can be very varied so you will need to be able to prioritise your workload.
Based in Newport Pagnell, there is an on site café, free parking and a warm, friendly environment.
