Project Administration Assistant Job in Winchester, Hampshire
Project Administration Assistant Job in Winchester, Hampshire with a leading architectural practice specialising in traditional and classical architecture throughout the UK and internationally. This practice recognises the importance of a good work-life balance and promotes career development.
The practice’s portfolio of projects ranges from beautiful historical buildings and private homes to commercial properties, masterplans, and major housing developments. This has ultimately resulted in them being recognised worldwide for their award-winning projects.
This position would suit someone with previous administration experience within the construction industry that understands the processes involved between design and construction.
Role & Responsibilities
- To assist and support projects teams in all project administration
- Site meetings
- Typing or drafting all correspondence and reports
- Review documents created by others to ensure spelling, grammar, layout and formatting are correct
- Taking minutes for project meetings and workshops
- Tracking and reporting on incoming requests for information
- Tracking and updating fee schedules and assisting with invoicing
- Arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms
- Printing, binding, or copying project documentation as required
- General administration support for the project managers and team, including updating drawing registers
- Preparing and issuing NBS Contractor Administrator outputs
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality with regard to sensitive matters.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong written English skills with the ability to check grammar and spelling
- Have an understanding or experience in administration within the construction industry
- Good working knowledge of general office and administration systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Time management and strong organisational skills
- Willingness to travel within the UK and must have a full driving licence
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
