Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator to join our growing team at Roadways.

The successful candidate will report directly to our HR Manager and assist the Transport Manager and the rest of the Management team generally.

The role is full time at 40 hours per week but we may consider some flexibility for the right candidate.

Full time salary from £22,000 to £26,000 depending on experience but this may be negotiable for the right person.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering the phone - taking messages/customer enquiries
  • Keeping information up to date on relevant databases
  • Printing and scanning documentation as required from teams across the Company
  • Providing secretarial support to Directors
  • Assisting with reports - capturing information and providing details to our Head of People, Safety & Standards
  • Supporting the Transport Manager with records management for legal and audit purposes
  • Supporting the HR Manager - preparing documentation, assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, helping to maintain training records and booking training as required, ensuring that staff complete e-learning modules
  • Assisting with the day to day running of the office by keeping the offices and kitchen tidy and maintained.
