A Leading and Fun Leisure Construction firm is urgently seeking an intelligent and dynamic office assistant based from it's site in Oxfordshire.
We are a flexible company and this could be a part time role 9 - 2.30 for instance. This is also a role that could grow with the person as and when they want to take on more responsibilities.
The majority of our contracts are design and build to the public sector. The successful candidate will assist in helping to answer phones, organise materials for the construction sites as well as helping to put together and print tender documents.
Key responsibilities / Duties will include:
- Printing and laminating of construction drawings and safety documents.
- Answering phones from clients, suppliers and taking notes of sales enquiries
- To assist in the logistics of delivering things to site
- Getting quotes for materials and placing orders
- Helping to complete diaries of activities on site
We would support development of any particular skill or interest in
- Marketing
- Sales
- Social Media / Web site development
Capabilities and Qualifications:The candidate preferably have:
- A good telephone manner
- Have excellent communication and written skills with the ability to both compile and check reports
- Good organisational skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office programmes
- Problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills- The ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders is essential.
- A sense of humour
- Good attention to detail
