We are an award winning and busy vegetation management company based in Coventry and are looking to employ an exceptional Office Administrator to work in our friendly office to support the office, management and operational teams. This is a fast paced, demanding office environment and the ability to prioritise workload and multi-task is paramount.

This varied and interesting role encompasses different aspects of Finance, HR, Compliance and general office duties. We are looking for an all rounder with excellent organisational and communication skills; someone with a positive, cheerful attitude and a proactive, problem solving approach to their work. The ideal candidate will be expected to manage their own workload and take ownership of their designated tasks.

The role will be varied, busy and rewarding. No day will ever be the same and there is potential to learn a great deal and, if you are ready, to take on more tasks and progress. Training will be provided.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Office:

Monitoring and ordering stationery and office supplies; updating policies and procedures; managing insurance renewals and claims; assisting with tender documentation; overseeing contract such as cleaners, phone, IT support’ alarm

Fleet:

Keeping an up to date record of Service, MOT, Repairs costs on Vehicles & Plant/machinery; Updating Fleet insurance with new and sold vehicles;Vehicle Fleet Management Monitoring Reporting vehicle faults onto tracker; Tax vehicles; recording mileage; reporting on fuel usage; monitoring vehicle trackers

Compliance:

Monitoring incident and accidents; monitoring monthly periodic checks

HR:

Arranging and monitoring training requirements; updating skills matrix; maintaining personnel records; assisting with payroll; updating birthdays/anniversaries tracker

Ad-hoc projects:

Managing winter planting programme; Carbon Neutral Initiative

Job Type:

  • Full-time Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 8am - 4pm

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
