Overview of the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our team starting in September. As an Administration Assistant at Animal Antiks, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our farm and contributing to the smooth functioning of our administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
· Perform general office administration duties, including filing, data entry, and document management.
· Provide first-line accountancy support, assisting with basic financial tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciling accounts.
· Assist in maintaining records and databases related to our clients, volunteers, and suppliers.
· Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring excellent customer service and a caring approach.
· Collaborate with various team members to coordinate schedules, events, and appointments.
· Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations as required.
· Support the team in organising workshops, farm visits, and therapeutic sessions.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in general office administration is essential.
· Familiarity with first-line accountancy tasks will be highly advantageous.
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and basic database management.
· A compassionate and caring attitude towards people with diverse needs.
· Flexibility to work as part of a team and independently when required.
