Office Administrator

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all office activities in a busy electrical contracting firm
  • Ensure adherence to relevant company procedures and policies
  • Make travel arrangements for the senior managers
  • Handle phone calls and all related correspondence
  • Provide assistance to the Director, Contracts Mangers in their day to day work
  • Keep databases in check and update them regularly
  • Control the office supplies state and make sure it is in accordance with office needs
  • Create purchase orders and maintain records for senior managers

Requirements and qualifications

  • Previous working experience as an Office Administrator or similar role
  • Minimum 5 GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft computer packages e.g. Word, Excel, Oulook and Powerpoint.
  • Hands-on experience with office management computer programs (such as ERP)
  • Attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
