Job description
As an Office Administrator your primary responsibility will be to carry out all general administrative tasks within the office and support the project managers. This will involve client and supplier interaction, paperwork, quotations, purchase orders, liaison with colleagues, time checks and product searching / information gathering.
As part of a small team, you will carry some responsibilities connected with this position, in particular, controlling costs in connection with the jobs/orders which involve purchasing items for projects on behalf of the company.
Due to the fast pace of our industry, you may be required to work extra hours in connection with your work at little notice, so great flexibility is required as well as the wish to develop and interact with a small team.
You will need to have a good head for figures, an understanding of company procedures and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. Once you are established within your position, you may be asked co-ordinate small orders from start to finish.
Essential skills:
Totally computer literate and conversant in Microsoft Office programs
Excellent telephone manner / customer liaison skills
You should also;
have a good head for solving problems and be able to work under a great deal of pressure as our industry works at a very fast pace.
