Abingdon Flooring are one of the largest carpet manufacturers in the U.K we supply a network of retailers with Point of Sale units within their stores. You will be joining the Marketing Department who's responsiblity it is to ensure all product launches are supported with relevant sales tools, we also liase with our 20 Account Managers to ensure our retailers showrooms have everything the need to promote the Abingdon brand.

We are looking for a new member of our Merchandising team. Some one who is extremely organised, super helpful and a total whiz on Excel. In return you will be working as part of a fun and energetic team, in a fast paced environment, where no two days are the same.

Our new administrator will help support our current Merchandiser team with general admin tasks including processing orders, stock management, organising deliveries and customer installations.

You will be the first point of contact for merchandise related enquiries from customers and internal teams.

You will help provide administration support to the Merchandise Co-ordinators to ensure timely processing of sample and unitary orders for retail installation or dispatch through couriers and logistics partners

Work with the Merchandise Co-ordinators to accurately record stock allocation; stock in/ out and ensure that systems are up-to-date

Support merchandising teams by assisting with install schedules and necessary paperwork, communicating plans with Sales Representatives and booking in installations with customers when needed.

Provide invoicing support for completed installs, liaising with the internal accounts team and customers

Assist with purchasing decisions and ordering for unitary and product range launches; rolling stock and top-ups; group, wholesale and national stock requirements.

Support and administrate online sample requests and monitor stock levels, working with web developers, sales teams and warehouse operatives to ensure timely download and processing

Support and administrate in-store sample requests dispatched via UPS

Request and record quotes from a range of suppliers and communicate with team for approval

Aid in the production and on-going distribution of general merchandise materials including contribution to design briefs, proofing and approval of content

Ensure pre-authorised departmental budgets are adhered to.

Respond to product specification enquiries to supply relevant information and ensure that information is up to date and accurate

Work to develop and adopt new systems to improve efficiencies.

Ensure and promote compliance with all health and safety, quality and human resource policies of Abingdon Flooring.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,675.77-£23,666.22 per year
