Job Profile: Office Administrator
Job Role:
We are seeking an Office Administrator on a part-time bases to carry out general administrative tasks at our office in Ottery St. Mary. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- General administrative duties – answering and directing phone calls, scanning, filing, laminating
- Raising and issuing purchase orders to sub-contractors and suppliers
- Keeping various spreadsheets up to date (e.g. financial and project information)
- Maintaining staff training matrix and update as necessary
- Ensuring adequate office stationery levels and equipment is maintained
- Dealing with all incoming and outgoing post
- Updating annual accreditations
- Updating and issuing supplier/sub-contractor review forms as requested
- Maintaining and updating sub-contractor approval matrix
- Organising tool calibration and fleet repairs/maintenance as required
Hours:
This is a part-time role working Monday to Friday 9.30am-3.00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break to be taken whenever desired. However, we are happy to be flexible on this for the right candidate if required.

Required:
- Must be IT literate and have a good telephone manner
- Office administration experience is preferred, but not essential
- Strong organisational skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Understanding of our industry is desirable - HVAC Commissioning, Water Treatment, Water Hygiene and Commissioning Management
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
