Arkansas Center for Data Sciences (ACDS) is helping GMI hire an Office Admin Apprentice. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficiency and accuracy of financial recordkeeping, vendor management, payroll support, and operational coordination. As an Apprentice, you can learn a skill set that will grow with your career. Training is provided and no cost to you. This Apprenticeship opportunity pays $14 plus an hour. Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. This is an onsite position, not a remote position. About the Employer: GMI is a data mining venture with a mission to secure the Bitcoin blockchain. GMI is dedicated to advancing the adoption of blockchain technology by providing high-speed service for blockchain applications. Duties include: Data Integrity and Reporting Identify and promptly resolve data discrepancies. Mail and Equipment Handling Expense Management Travel Coordination Billing Details Maintenance Payroll Support Special Projects Ideal Candidate Background Includes: Basic computer skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), inventory management systems, and accounting software will be helpful to an apprentice in this role. Prior experience in accounting and operations roles is a plus. Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software, including specialized accounting software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Familiarity with vendor management, payroll processes, and expense tracking is advantageous. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Requirements: Valid driver’s license Ability to meet GMI Background and Drug Screen requirements. High school diploma or GED Ability to sit for long periods of time and do fine manipulations using fingers and hands. Superior communication skills with the ability to interact, converse, and share ideas effectively with a wide range of people, internally and externally. What's an Apprenticeship?
