Job description
Global business in the travel sector looking for a Legal Counsel, initially on a short-term contract (three months) but with the possibility of things being extended. Based in Central London and on a hybrid-working model. You must be available to start in July.
The Legal Counsel will enjoy a broad remit of legal advisory work and the opportunity to engage with stakeholders across the business, as well as external suppliers and customers.
You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of commercial agreements relating to sales, licensing, travel partnerships, data, financing and general client T&Cs. There will be elements of corporate work to get involved with, with a particular focus on business governance. And you will also be given the opportunity to contribute to various key strategic projects that the business have in progress.
The client believes that the role is suited to a lawyer with at least 2 PQE but applications from all levels will be considered on merit. Applications from Commonwealth qualified lawyers (such as Australia, New Zealand and South Africa) are strongly encouraged. You will be have a proven track record in drafting commercial agreements, and any involvement in corporate work would also be advantageous.
