JOB TITLE: Legal Counsel
PQE REQUIRED: 0 - 3
LOCATION: South London / Surrey
SALARY: £60,000
THE ROLE:
Our client is looking for a proactive and positive Legal Counsel to help advise on a wide range of legal matters associated with their global activities. This is a broad and exciting role with exposure to many different jurisdictions. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of legal disciplines including mergers and acquisitions, company law, contract reviews, construction law advice, software, technology, intellectual property, disputes, claims and insurance.
THE CANDIDATE:
- NQ – 3 years PQE.
- Relevant experience either in private practice with a top national firm or in-house.
- Good practical experience of the application of legal principles and commercial law.
- Legal experience in negotiating and drafting commercial and other business to business technology and information related contracts (nice to have).
- Legal experience of construction law preferably gained in a consultancy environment or with a client/contractor (nice to have).
- Great analytical skills and excellent legal knowledge.
- Ability to multitask, problem solve, and balance competing priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a bigger team.
