Position:

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join and help negotiate deals with clients, rights holders and third party suppliers and further strengthen our relationships across the music industry.

What you will do:

Negotiate and draft deals with music DSPs;

Work closely with the business development colleagues on new and existing business opportunities;

Manage deals with music publishers;

Work closely with Ops and Finance teams on royalty distribution queries and processes;

Maintain and develop relationships across the independent publishing community by attending events and talks;

Manage litigation issues with external counsel;

Provide support to Product and People teams as required;

Maintain database of contracts;

Be across developments in IP law.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;

Strong academics and legal training;

Ability to travel;

Flexible and responsible;

Passion for the music industry;

Existing relationships within the industry is a plus.
