Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Technician to work within Central Clinic Mental Health Team.

The successful candidate will support the Occupational Therapist in providing occupationally focused interventions to service users in the community to enhance quality of life, improve skills and occupational functioning.

The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, highly motivated with excellent communication skills. We therefore are seeking a dynamic, flexible and motivated Occupational Therapy Technician to join us in Swansea Bay University Health Board.

The candidate would be supported with the wider Occupational Therapy Team, and In this role, you will be actively encouraged to participate in quality improvement.

The role also offers a commitment to your own individual development within the service.

You will receive high quality supervision, support and training to further develop your skills and experience in a mental health setting as part of your continuous professional development.
