Job description

Under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist (OT) the post holder will be expected to: Assist with providing a comprehensive occupational therapy service Carryout assessments and other tasks that have initially been screened by the therapist. To carry out appropriate intervention requesting advice or support as required. To perform any other task requested by the therapist appropriate to their remit, role and responsibilities. Undertake appropriate training as indicated by the therapist specific to the client group encountered To support Northumbria Wheelchair services administration function To support the personal wheelchair budget process to support patients to access a wider choice of wheelchair
