Applications are invited for an individual to join our Adult Community Mental Health Occupational Therapy Team within Perth and Kinross.
The Occupational Therapy Team works with people experiencing severe and/or enduring mental health problems, throughout the Perth and Kinross Locality areas.
As the successful applicant you will have a qualification to HND/SVQ IV or equivalent in a health social care subject with relevant experience in a related health/social care setting. Experience within a mental health setting is desirable. You will work in partnership with people to provide a range of goal orientated therapeutic interventions aimed at maximising occupational performance. These interventions may be with individuals or within group settings. You will be responsible for completing basic assessment and reviews whilst managing your own caseload with supervision from a registered occupational therapist.
Applicants must possess good communication skills, be able to work flexibly as part of a team and be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with challenging situations. The post holder will receive regular supervision from occupational therapy staff.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
