Salary: £22,100
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Our Occupational Therapists are experts in understanding the link between occupation and health. We support individuals to function as independently as possible by helping them to acquire skills that are necessary for day-to-day living.

Our Site and Services
The Northampton site hosts services that include: Learning Disability; Autism; Medium Secure Forensics including our Deaf Service; Acquired Brain Injury; Dementia and Huntington’s Disease; Low Secure and Specialist Rehabilitation (including PICU); CAMHS and Community Partnerships, as well as our Academic and Research and Innovation Centres, offering great opportunities to broaden and develop your skills in the future.
A bit more about the role
The successful applicants will join a large Occupational Therapy team. Duties are varied and you will work with experienced Occupational Therapists who will guide you through a comprehensive induction process and thereafter you will become a member of the team who can plan and implement group and one to one sessions. Sessions include personal care, community skills, cooking skills, social skills, and a variety of topic based groups and vocational opportunities. This will be an opportunity for you to see our patients through the eyes of an occupational therapist and you will receive teaching and guidance about how to use occupation as a therapeutic medium.
Clinical and management supervision will be provided on a monthly basis, added to a scaffolding of daily support from the OT team.
