CWIC Mental Health is trail-blazing the development of both Mental Health Occupational Therapy and Nursing in Primary Care. Mental Health Occupational Therapy in Primary Care is an innovative role which enhances the mental health support and well-being of patients. The addition of band 4 OT Assistant Practitioner roles to the service will enable patients to access short-term community focused interventions to support sustainable outcomes for patients.
