Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the Older Adult Community Mental Health team.
The post holder will be expected to demonstrate an ability to support older people who are in need of secondary mental health services.
The post holder will assist in the provision of a professional Occupational Therapy Service to assist older adults to achieve maximum potential through helping them regain their best levels of independence. The post holder will demonstrate an ability to provide activities and interventions to meet the needs of older adults to develop and increase independent functioning and to help them integrate into personal, social, domestic, vocational and community environments.
The post holder must have previous experience working in a healthcare setting and be trained to NVQ 3 standard.
Driving licence and own vehicle required.
