Our client is a £90m turnover growing online retailer who is seeking to hire a Management Accountant. The role will suit a progressive ACA/ACCA/CIMA studier or newly qualified looking to work in a fast paced dynamic business. The role will be a no2 role to the Financial Controller and offer a broad remit with lots of progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and timely monthly management accounts, supporting the Financial Controller for an efficient close

• Analyse the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet at category and nominal code levels

• Take on mid-month reporting and targeted analysis of key P&L areas

• Generate management reporting for decision making support

• Own regular reporting, preparing KPIs for internal and external review

• Take control of Daily reports & ad hoc reporting request

• Value add reporting initiative untaken

• Calculation, preparation and reporting of VAT

• Manage capital expenditure

• Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and external regulations

• Continuous review of accounting processes, evolving systemisation to drive operational efficiencies and optimise control frameworks

• Adhoc reporting, reconciliations and analysis to aid management decisions

• Manage information and updates to a range of stakeholders

• Support Financial Controller with wide range of activities and projects

A salary of £45,000-£50,000 is on offer plus bonus and benefits.
