Band 3 - Occupation Therapist Permanent, supporting the Eating Disorders Outpatient Team.

A vacancy has arisen for an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Eating Disorders Service - an outpatient service.

To work as part of the occupational therapy team based with the Outpatient Eating Disorders Team. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking prominently rehabilitation activities for this client group but interventions will also include therapeutic and social activities, psycho educational groups, leisure activities etc.

We are looking for someone who has experience, relevant knowledge and a passion to be working with service users, contributing to delivery of a package of care to promote recovery. The post holder needs to be able to demonstrate drive and motivation in providing recovery based Occupational Therapy (OT) interventions. There will be an expectation that the post holder will hold a caseload of service users with whom they provide OT led interventions, working closely with and under supervision of the qualified OTs. This will involve working in service users' homes and within their communities, supporting them in a practical way to achieve their occupational goals.
