Job description
This post is an opportunity for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in the Medium Secure Forensic Service this a 12 month fixed term/secondment post. This role involves being part of the Recovery-focused Occupational Therapy Team carrying out specialist group and individual work within the inpatient unit working across acute, rehab and specialist wards.

- To support the OT service in providing specialist OT treatment in inpatient and community settings
- To implement the OT treatment plans through the provision of specialist individual and group treatment programmes
- To positively contribute to the development of the forensic mental health occupational therapy service
- To collaborate with the MDT team in its provision of assessment and treatment of service users
- Responsible for accurately completing petty cash vouchers related to purchases made for service provision.
- To carry out administrative tasks as required to support the smooth running of the Occupational Therapy team.
