- Schedule and sequence production volume within KH process’s defined by demand plans and inventory stocking parameters.
- Responsible for evaluating and adjusting production plans without impacting overall service levels performance and inventory levels significantly
- Monitor progress against the plan through frequent contact with Operational site team- consulting and informing of any adjustments as necessary- according to priorities- constraints and customer / supplier availability
- Produce / update reports- highlighting corrective actions for non-conformance to target Interface as Material planner to guarantee the weekly material needs ensuring inventory (raw and packs) coverage
- In conjunction with supply chain development and FSQ Manager manage new product and component introductions- product de-lists and promotions- for timely activation and minimum write-offs
- Maintain Master data accuracy on an as needed basis. This includes OTM / OTP ( or aligned KH process)- SAP – BOM’s accuracy including scrap factor- supplier information- run strategies and production run size information
- Create- maintain and develop effective and collaborative working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate the weekly planning meetings alongside operational team and offer guidance on any constraints and work through solutions to maintain operational efficiencies and the balance to maintain OTIF and Inventory targets
- Facilitate inbound and outbound logistic schedules ensuring customer service and inventory control is maintained
- Lead weekly and monthly downtime planning routine and clearly communicate downtime / outage plan
- Lead on implementation of KHMS pillars and improvement of supply chain planning practices and procedures driven by the MSC KHMS pillar
- Identify areas of improvement and cost deficiencies in order to create efficient supply chain planning techniques and tools/systems
- Reduce and optimize labour cost by working with the operational leads finding the best way to match weekly production plan to labour and skills availability. Avoiding overtime and double time triggers
- Lead- manage- coach and develop a diverse operational workforce ensuring that they reach their full potential- whilst meeting and improving the required KPI targets
