2 Year fixed term contract | £39,248 to £43,517 per annum (Scale K) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Workers/Occupational Therapists (grade J and above), Practice Consultants and Team Managers new to Norfolk County Council.

Norfolk County Council are closely working with the Integrated Care Board and have been successful in securing funding for a two-year project working with the existing Moving and Handling Advisory Team. We are looking for experienced level 2 Occupational Therapist to join the team as Practice Consultant.

The existing team will be growing and with the aims to increase optimising handling solutions for our service users across the local care system.

The purpose of the role will be to support the Moving and Handling Team Manager with the supervision and clinical support to existing and new clinical staff. The Practice Consultant will also deputise for the Team Manager, covering sickness absence or leave. Undertake some case work through joint visits with occupational therapy teams and independent providers to provide moving and handling advice.

The roles will be for a 2 year term and will offer a fantastic opportunity to work with an established team of moving and handling practitioners and gain experience at Practice Consultant level.
