Job Summary:As a Bakery Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of baked goods from our bakery to various retail stores and clients. Your primary responsibility is to pack and transport bakery products efficiently, maintain the quality and freshness of the goods, and communicate with all stores effectively. After delivering, you will be required to help the Bakery team to clean the Bakery, equipment, help wrap products, etc.Due to insurance reasons, only candidates over 25 years old will be considered for the role.Key Responsibilities:Loading and Unloading: Safely load bakery products onto delivery vehicles, ensuring that items are secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.Route Planning: Plan delivery routes to optimize time efficiency and minimize fuel consumption. Familiarize yourself with delivery schedules and customer locations.Safe Driving: Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Maintain a clean driving record.Product Inspection: Inspect bakery products before loading and after unloading to ensure they meet quality standards. Report any damaged or compromised items immediately.Timely Delivery: Deliver bakery products to stores and clients on time, following delivery schedules and deadlines.Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating courteously with store personnel, ensuring correct orders, and addressing any concerns or questions.Documentation: Complete delivery paperwork accurately, including invoices, delivery receipts, and any other required documentation.Maintaining Vehicle: Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles, such as checking oil, fuel, and tire pressure. Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly.Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels at both the bakery and delivery vehicle. Report inventory discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper handling of bakery equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and using personal protective equipment as required.Qualifications:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Prior experience as a delivery driver preferred.Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Physical stamina to load and unload bakery products.Ability to work independently and efficiently.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry heavy bakery products.Stamina to stand, walk, and load/unload for extended periods.Comfortable working in various weather conditions.Note: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of skills, duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the role.
