Occupational Therapist

The Occupational Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist in Beckenham. The successful Occupational Therapist will be working Monday to Friday 9-5. This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job is £17 per hour.

Essential skills:

• HCPC Registered
• Acute Occupational Therapy experience
• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapist
• Providing Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions including ADL, I;I and group interventions. Working with the MDT to support timely discharge and the ward activity programme. Candidates must be able to work at pace, be able to manage challenging behaviours and have excellent risk assessment and communication skills. They need a sound knowledge of OT Functional ADL assessment work, good report writing skills and be able to work effectively with a large multidisciplinary team.
