Paediatric Occupational Therapist required (self-employed, full time/ part-time)
Kiki’s Children’s Clinic (KCC) is a thriving South-West London based practice that is continuously expanding its team. This passionate, exciting, multi-national team of therapists are seeking an exceptional, part-time / full time, self-employed, flexible, committed Paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join its dynamic and multi-disciplinary team.
This position is to start from September/October. Interviews will begin in the middle of August.
KCC delivers PT, OT and SLT for babies and children and its team of experienced therapists value early intervention and a multi-disciplinary approach and thrive to help children to live their lives fully. The therapists are experienced in seeing a wide variety of childhood conditions from babyhood to early teens.
Therapy sessions are offered at clinic, at home and in schools in the Greater London area. This role will be primarily based in school settings.
The position holder will be involved in skill development within our multi-disciplinary team from the occupational therapy perspective, as well as employing their specialist knowledge as an OT to ensure KCC offers comprehensive support programmes that enable the child, the family and the educational setting.
Person specification
Relevant qualifications, HCPC registration and enhanced DBS checks required
Must be a ‘hands on’ therapist with a passion for treating children.
Experience working with autistic children, and children with various conditions, such as ADHD, developmental delay and cerebral palsy.
Minimum 3 years postgraduate paediatric experience
Must be trained and experienced in sensory integration (SI) (Minimum completion of module 1)
NDT (Neuro developmental therapy) training and experience is desirable.
Experienced in delivering in-clinic and in-school therapy services.
Must be competent in carrying out EHCP assessments and report writing.
Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, efficient with the ability to work independently.
Excellent rate of pay and flexible working hours
Use of own transport would be beneficial.
