We are a small, friendly preschool located within Martlesham for children aged 2 – 4 years, open term time only, between the hours of 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
Due to an increase in our numbers, we are looking for a bank staff/SEND support member to join our small team. This post will require flexibility, sometimes at short notice, to cover other various hours within our opening times.
You will need:
- a minimum level 2 Early years qualification (Must be a full and relevant qualification)
- experience of working within a childcare setting, of working directly with children and parents, or experience whilst training
- to be able to work as part of a team and use initiative
- to be able to offer flexibility in your availability, to cover sessions at short notice
- to be willing to attend training if needed
- a positive attitude and good communication skills
- an understanding of the EYFS framework, Ofsted, and Safeguarding
- the ability help provide a nurturing learning environment, working with other staff and parents for best outcomes.
As with any bank staff position the working hours may vary greatly from week to week depending on our requirements.
