We are looking for a Band 6 Children’s Occupational Therapist to join our Community Children’s Therapy Team in West Essex, covering Uttlesford, Harlow and Epping Forest, to help us continue to change things for the better.

We are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive West Essex Integrated Therapies Team. Full-time and part-time hours considered.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou’ll work closely with our team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants, within a diverse multidisciplinary team with other dedicated staff as part of our innovative Child and Family Wellbeing Service. You will benefit from the support of friendly and inclusive colleagues and access regular supervision with a Band 7 Occupational Therapist and team meetings.
The Ideal CandidateYou’ll use your experience to deliver excellent assessment and treatment to a varied selection of children and young people aged 8-18 with diverse conditions. Therapy will be delivered in clinic, at one of our family hubs or at the child’s home/ school. You’ll care for service users and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice and actively improving the way we work.
You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist with a minimum of two years’ post graduate practice in paediatrics and have experience of working with children and young people in the community. You will have strong communication and organisation skills and a flexible approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to service users at every stage of their healthcare journey.
