Introduction
The Chimneys in Suffolk is opening a new purpose built 11 bedded rehabilitation ward which will compliment the existing12-bed rehabilitation service. The 2 wards will offer specialist care designed to support women who have a diagnosis of a Personality Disorder (PD) or and Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), as well as supporting those with a Mental Illness. Young women who are transitioning from CAMHS will also be supported at The Chimneys.
You will work alongside the multidisciplinary team to deliver positive support and risk reduction strategies, as well as providing opportunities for social inclusion and building skills for independent living.
With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you’ll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to support you reach your career goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing assessments, planning sessions and implementing intervention.
- Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to aid mental health recovery.
To be successful in this role:
- Current HCPC registration and RCOT membership.
- Experience of working within a similar setting.
- A Competitive Salary of £46,000pa DoE
