Set in a beautiful honey coloured Georgian terrace is the boutique Hotel Indigo Bath. Grade one listed our building is steeped in history and sits in the peaceful street of South Parade, just steps away from the centre of Bath. Surrounded by culture Bath is famous for romance, literature and historic architecture; our boutique hotel is a great base to explore this wonderful city.
Our 166 rooms have been perfectly designed with our guests and the city in mind. Modern and stylish they reflect the influences of the architects and novelists who made Bath famous for its story telling and passionate social scene. The Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Linen Porter to join the team. In this role, you will develop established and recognised linen control systems with respect to all departments within the hotel, including laundry of guest clothing, counting and stock rotation, sorting and distribution. You’ll main responsibility will be to deliver fresh linen around the hotel and organise the collection of the changed linen. You’ll receive and check all linen deliveries, unpack and store it correctly, and maintain the storage facilities to the highest of standards.
You’ll ensure all housekeeping equipment is used safely and effectively and will report any accidents to guests and staff and potential hazards. The Linen Porter will also ensure tidiness and cleanliness of all linen cupboards, storerooms and back of house areas as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a Linen Porter with a keen eye for detail, who takes the upmost pride in their work. The guest is at the heart of everything we do and creating memorable experiences for them is key so you’ll need to have a passion for customer service. Working within the Housekeeping team is a demanding role, so having a positive attitude and the ability to thrive as part of a team is essential.
