This role is for OnePLM, Oxford, UK This a fully home-based role with occasional travel to Oxford, UK. We are looking for an experienced NX Technical Support Consult to assist both our established and growing Enterprise clients with technical support requests and challenges. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the digital future of our organization by ensuring that the support requirements of our demanding clients are dealt with in a swift and professional manner. The role is fully home based, with the occasional need to attend company meetings and social events at our head office in Oxford, UK. Your role will encompass: You will be the ‘go-to’ point of contact for our clients requiring an eclectic range of technical support focused on their NX products and services. This can include resolving customer challenges in a professional and timely manner, with tasks ranging from basic licensing issues, to complex NX modelling or assembly issues. What you’ll bring to OnePLM:Previous knowledge of Siemens NX as an end userUnderstanding of NX configuration (custom menus, re-use libraries, materials libraries, drawing border configuration, attributes, customer defaults)Understanding general CAD concepts – file types, data translation and applications. Licensing implementation of both node locked and floating license typesExperience of general CAD support & relevant challengesExcellent communication skills both written and oral will be essential especially when dealing with customers who are under pressure and want to feel that they are dealing with a consummate professional.Positive self-motivated, confident, willing to learn.Willingness to share knowledge and experience with other developers on the team.
