Job description
A vacancy has arisen within Planned Care Pool for a Band 2 Nursing Auxiliary.
You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care possible. You will be based within the Planned Care Directorate, where you will gain experience within general surgery, urology, orthopaedics ,ENT, gastroenterology and acute surgical admissions.
You should have a real interest in surgical nursing. We are looking for good team players with excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to patient care.
If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It is expected that you complete this qualification, which will be fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide you with more information once you are in post.
