A great hydraulic retail business in Sheffield that is a very friendly place to work, who are looking for the right candidate to join a small group of people operating in an internal sales role.
The role
Supporting the rest of the sales team on a day-to-day basis taking incoming calls from customers and dealing with their hydraulic requirements. Customers will generally advise part codes which can easily be found in our account’s software. This then enables you to provide the relative quote / information easily. Use of the software will allow you to check pricing, availability and then onwards to sending quotes or taking an order. Full training will be given with an opportunity to progress into a more technical role...
Duties:-
- Liaising with customers by phone and email
- Receive, input and follow up on quotations
- Process sales orders and feedback on lost enquiries
- Process over the phone card payments
- Liaise with suppliers daily to check deliveries and stock
- Plan and make arrangements for sales trips, shows, exhibitions and events
- Deal with online sales portals(ebay/webshop)
- Speak to buyers about stock planning etc for certain large customers
- General office duties and liaison with other departments within the company
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
