Hertfordshire Community Trust are currently seeking a Nursing Associate to join their team on a temporary basis at their Avenue Clinic location. The trust are happy to consider both full time and part time candidates who can commit to either block bookings or ad hoc shift requests. Various shifts available. The main purpose of the role is to work with the Registered Nurses and other members of the multi-professional team to provide and monitor care, and contribute to the ongoing assessment, as agreed with supervising clinician(s) in line with the service pathways.

What you will be responsible for
- Under indirect supervision with a Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP’s) provide and deliver a high standard of nursing care, contributing to the assessment of service users within the MIU, providing evidence-based care and treatment to patients with certain conditions, once deemed competent.
- Provide compassionate, safe and effective care, treatment and support to patients and their families.
- Monitor the condition and health needs of patients within the MIU, ensuring appropriate escalation to a Registered Nurse Practitioner when required.
- Support and offer advice to patients to improve and maintain their mental, physical, behavioural health and well-being.
The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.
You will have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Nursing Associate a UK hospital within the last 3 years
· Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
· Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
