An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Specialist Offender Personality Disorder Services at Rothbury Ward on Northgate hospital site. Rothbury provide a national service funded by NHS England and HMPPS. We aim to support assessment, formulation and current/future risk management for men 18-65 creened onto the OPD pathway from custodial settings. We have number of band 3 vacancies to support our current and for our planned admission. Applications are invited from candidates who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm and passion to deliver and maintain high standards of clinical care. You must have a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe, patient care and be a good role model in reflecting the Trusts core values. You will be provided with training opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills, offered regular supervision and support and have ongoing well-being conversations. The Health Care Assistant role will: To work within a multi-disciplinary team assisting in the development and implementation of collaborative, needs based care plans. To support the team in providing excellent and effective person centred, nursing care. They are actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff and service users. They are visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring service. They contribute to achieving all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes. Deliver and maintain high standards of clinical care; implementing individual plans of care based on a person centred assessment. Provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity. Assist in the delivery of therapeutic clinical based interventions and activities which meet individual needs embracing equality and diversity. Engage in regular family/carer contact/support to encourage collaborative decision making. Have the courage to speak out, challenge and help inform the future of nursing care.
