Job description
We are looking for fun loving, smiley, enthusiastic nursery nurses to join our team to carry out a nursery nurses role with a difference.
We want you to come and be our play leaders taking time to plan fun filled activities for our amazing children making sure they have everything needed to ensure our community sessions are fun, sensory based and help develop skills.
Your role will be leading play for the children that we support on behalf of the local authority. You will need a passion to create stimulating sensory activities and supporting the team to implement these activities, you will need to be excited and confident to try new things and share your ideas.
This is an exciting opportunity where you can create fun filled opportunities for children with a range of health and disability needs.
Your main responsibilities will be, managing resources to ensure that everything is readily available for the children, planning a range of activities that are sensory based, maintaining and organising 'The Cwtch' to be available for the children who have a planned play session.
Creating a timetable for an allocation of children to ensure that all community support sessions are supporting the development needs of the children including the creation of resource packs for support workers to use with a child.
We would expect you to be a level 3 qualified nursery nurse and to have had experience working within a play based setting.
Most of all we want you to be excited to work with us and to be a real ambassador for play
Experience of working with children with a disability would be advantageous
The ability to drive is necessary for this role and you would be expected to attend community support sessions to carry out spot checks and support the implementation of activities and experiences

Salary: £21,850.00 per year
