Hatching Dragons the UK’s first fully bilingual Mandarin-English Early Years provision, is looking to build up its bank and support staff team in our nurseries, we have three nursery across London, .We're looking for great nursery nurses, early years educators and child carers who are keen to join something new, exciting and a place where they can make a difference...more details below.As a bank staff member you will be working alongside our Room Leaders/ Practitioners to assist with the children daily activities and support the team throughout the day. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for Education and enjoying working with children from 6 months- 5 Years. This role is on a temporary basis and you will join the team on a zero hour contracts, shifts will be allocated based on occupancy requirements.

Required Qualifications: Relevant childcare qualification or ongoing training in childcare; Up to date DBS; Food & Hygiene; A positive approach to gaining further qualifications and training.
Skills:

  • Good communication skills, with children, colleagues, advisors and parents/carers.
  • Understanding the EYFS
  • Good verbal skills with colleagues, management, external bodies
  • A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities
  • Able manage own workload and support the team

Experience : Must have at least 6 months experience working with children aged aged 6 months to 5.

  • Experience of working in a small group
  • Helpful and flexible in approach to work.
  • Sound knowledge of nursery rhymes or child stories would be advantageous.
  • Able to keep children entertained.
