- To support in the day-to-day running of the nursery, including preparing & serving meals and cleaning up after
- To help tidy away at the end of each session, ensuring that all equiptment, both indoors and outdoors, is clean and safe at all times.
- To help ensure the setting is always maintained at a high standard, this includes cleaning/household duties.
- To be aware of safeguarding responsibilities and notify the line manager of any concerns e.g. regarding children, child protection, parents/carers or the safety of premises and equipment whilst preserving confidentiality as necessary.
- To ACTIVELY engage with children, interacting with them in a positive manner, and promoting learning at all times.
- To be aware of any special needs and dietary requirements a child may have.
- To support the Early Years Practitioners to teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation.
- To attend staff meetings and in-service training courses as required.
- To keep up-to-date with current good practice.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by line manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
