About the Role
Dr Laliwala and partners are looking to welcome an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the team on a permanent basis.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Assess patients and demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making
- Independently triage, diagnose, refer, prescribe or discharge patients appropriately
- Deliver a high standard of patient care and promote a professional, caring and compassionate approach
- Maintain accurate computerised patient records, using agreed read codes and complete admin relating to the patients you have seen in line with organisational procedures.
- Provide expert advice to both patients and colleagues
- Collect data and participate in regular practice audits to help develop the practices plans and improving primary care for our patients.
About you
As a key member of our team of Doctors, Physician Associates, Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists, Social prescribers, Nurses and HCA’S:
- You will be a Registered General Practice Nurse (currently registered with the NMC).
- You will hold a recognised ANP qualification at Masters level and work as an Independent Nurse Prescriber
- You will have experience of working in a GP Practice and triaging patients using telephone, online or video consultation.
- You will work autonomously whilst working within defined procedures and protocols agreed by the GPs.
- You will be confident in diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic issues
- You will be compassionate and committed to not only delivering care, but also developing new ways of working to meet the health needs of our to our varied practice population
- Ideally you will have experience of using SystmOne
