The Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) role is pivotal for the effective and timely delivery of patient care within the Emergency Department (ED) Minor Injuries area. The ENP role within ED is dynamic to accommodate the service need of the patients that attend with minor injuries/illness.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Emergency Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Practitioner/Paramedic practitioner who is committed to working as part of our MIU Team delivering an excellent, caring service to our patients. We have a diverse multi-skilled multi-disciplinary team consisting of Doctors, Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioners, ENPs Nurses, Assistant Practitioners and Heath Care Assistants. The successful candidate will undertake assessment, diagnosis, treatment/referral and discharge of patients with minor illness and injury.
The Practitioners/Clinicians manage these Patients who present to the MIU with an undifferentiated diagnosis through a process of assessment, formulation of a clinical management plan and on to discharge or transfer for definitive care.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
