Job description
Looking for a Registered Nurse in London to work in an office based environment assessing claimants on behalf of the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).
Working hours are 40 hours per week or 8 hour shifts from 8am to 5pm.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Clinical Care
- To carry out personal and independent clinical assessments and examinations.
- To interpret and analyse information gained in assessment, alongside medical evidence provided, in order to create a professional, accurate and concise report to robustly advise on each individuals level of needs and functional abilities.
Professional Development
- To take initiative in maintaining your individual professional development in order to say current with clinical evidence and practice
- To liaise between Administration/Head Office Staff and other clinicians, management and external clients, when any queries arise and dealing with the queries in a prompt and professional manner
- To work with colleagues and Head Officers particularly with regard to improving the service for clients.
- To maintain GDPR and confidentiality for the claimant and client within and when working from home
- To have an understanding of and work within the agreed Key Performance indicators.
- To maintain high professional standards and attitudes when dealing with clients, claimants and clinicians.
- To undertake any other duties compatible with the grading of the post, as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN and RNLD) ONLY
- 12 months post registration with no restrictions on pin
- Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
CV must contain the following:
- 2 years of clinical experience as a qualified health professional
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- A broad clinical knowledge base
- Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office
- NMC registration pin
